A Critical Response to Grammar "Sticklers"

I must say I rather like Lynne Truss's book on punctuation, Eats, Shoots and Leaves, yet I am well aware that being a grammar and punctuation "stickler" is not the only way to go, not by a long shot.

Note this: other people have different opinions. One of those people is another Brit, actor and wit Stephen Fry.

Below is his rant on people who smugly point out the grammar and punctuation "errors" of others.
