Wow, great post.
Well, thanks for the info. Actually, I'm considering using the chromebook to publish a book, because my other Windows computer warned me two days ago that the Windows license is about to expire. Just when I was starting the review and layout of the book in Word. Very bad luck that. Maybe I'll have to pull an ace out of my sleeve to fix that, or use my chromebook despite the fact that only Word is accepted in Kindle Direct Publishing as the right tool to publish correctly. And Microsoft's prices are obscenely high. If I ever become a millionaire, I'll order the creation of a cheap operating system that supports the use of .exe programs so that I can use word without a problem.Anyway... good luck with your books. Amazon is an ocean of books. My first book did not sell. Not even a single one. And it was a good book... (I'm not saying that to discourage you) but the ideal is to devise innovative advertising methods, or the book will be little known.Good luck.
KDP allows Google Docs from Drive, so the Chromebook route is easy. You can also download a template to enter your text to an already-formatted file. Good luck!
